I started this blog in December 2010 and after making a couple posts I got really busy with other projects and forgot about it. I would like to say that I had been smart enough back then to invest in Bitcoin when you could get 10,000 BTC for the price of 2 Papa John's Pizzas, but it was several years later before I even heard about Bitcoin and began to take an interest in cryptocurrencies.
It is one of those classic situations where everything began to change and those that had the foresight to see it were considered a little bit nuts by the main stream. We are now entering a new phase of the cryptocurrency revolution with the advent of Ethereum. This one will see much wider adoption as the usefulness of the ability to create contracts will see it used in thousands of ways that people are only just now beginning to think about.
I expect that people in the future will look back at the current period where we are seeing a great gold rush of Initial Coin Offerings and wish they had become involved in the same way I look back at the early days of Bitcoin.
